DPS-85 is a delay and pitch shifter. Everything is on one panel. This page says what each control does.
Installation
After you buy, Lemon Squeezy emails you a receipt with a download link and your licence key. Download the installer for your system and run it. If DPS-85 doesn't appear in your host afterwards, rescan your plugins.
Activation
Enter the licence key from your receipt. Activation needs an internet connection once per computer.
Controls
TIME / MODE
Ten positions, in two groups.
- Delay: 25, 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800 ms, plus INV, a reverse delay.
- Pitch Shift: 1 and 2 are two response characters. 1 is faster, 2 is smoother. INV is a reversed pitch shift.
PITCH
Sets the pitch shift, from one octave down to one octave up.
FINE
In the pitch-shift modes, FINE is fine tuning.
In the delay modes, it scales the delay time from ×0.5 to ×1.0. The pitch of the echoes bends as you move it.
FEEDBACK (LEVEL)
Sets the amount of repeats. At the top of its range the effect self-oscillates.
MIX (BALANCE)
Sets the balance between the direct signal and the effect.
SYNC
Snaps the delay time to the host tempo as a note value.
LOOP
Sets the length of the pitch-shift loop, from ×1/4 to ×4.
VINTAGE
Switches in a model of 1980s 8-bit converters and companding. The tone gets grittier and darker.
HOLD
Freezes what is in the effect's memory and loops it.
EFFECT
Bypass switch.
Presets
DPS-85 ships with 15 factory presets. You can save your own alongside them.
